Moving in Subotica — a guide to the town and around it
Subotica is about 190 km north of Belgrade at the top of Bačka, by the Hungarian border, reached along the whole length of the E-75. Known for its Art Nouveau architecture and for Lake Palić, it is the second city of Vojvodina — which is why a good share of our work here is international moves into Hungary and on into Europe.
We move in the centre with its listed Art Nouveau buildings, and in Prozivka, Kertvaroš, Aleksandrovo and out towards Palić. The old buildings in the core have high ceilings and wide staircases but often no lift, which means more carrying.
