Moving between Belgrade and Berlin — KOMBI-KOMBI

Belgrade to Berlin is about 1,550 km and one of the routes we run most often — Germany holds the largest Serbian diaspora in Europe. A studio starts at €1,860, it is all inside the EU, and the usual reason a date slips is not the road but the parking permit outside the building.

What the move costs

The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:

About Berlin

Berlin's Serbian community is spread across Neukölln, Wedding, Moabit and Spandau, with newer arrivals in Friedrichshain and Lichtenberg. On the same runs we serve Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Dresden, Hanover, Nuremberg and Dortmund.

Practical notes

In Berlin, stopping in front of the building usually needs a temporary parking ban — a Halteverbot — applied for a few days in advance. Without one the van stands where it can and the crew carries the difference, which costs more than the permit does. We tell you how to arrange it. The second thing is the lifts: a great many Berlin blocks have lifts too small for a wardrobe or a sofa, so for upper floors it is either an external furniture lift (Möbellift) or carrying by hand with the bulky pieces dismantled first. Tell us the floor and the lift size and we will price it properly rather than discover it on the day.

Frequently asked questions

What does this route cost?

From €1,860 for a studio up to 8 m³, €2,230 for a two-bedroom, €2,790 for a three-bedroom and €3,720 for a house.

Do I need a Halteverbot?

In most Berlin streets, yes — it is a temporary parking ban that keeps the space in front of the entrance free. It is applied for a few days ahead, and we explain how.

How long does it take?

About 14 hours of driving; 1–3 working days door to door.

Is there a customs procedure?

Not on the way out — it is all inside the EU. Coming back into Serbia there is a full entry procedure, which we handle.
