Moving in Belgrade are never easy — for most people doing it for the first time, a move is a step into the unknown. KOMBI-KOMBI was founded in 2013 and over thirteen years of continuous work we have completed more than 35,000 moves in Belgrade and across Serbia. Employed crews, our own fleet and a fixed price written into the contract make us one of the better moving companies in Belgrade.

Why move with KOMBI-KOMBI

Belgrade has dozens of moving companies, from one-man van-and-a-worker outfits to large firms, and choosing between them is not easy. Here is why more than a thousand customers a year choose this one:

1. Thirteen years of continuous work, since 2013

Many of the companies in Belgrade are individuals doing removals on the side. KOMBI-KOMBI is a registered business — USLUGE PRESELJENJA KOMBI-KOMBI, tax number 108041789, company number 63171590, with declared turnover, filed tax returns and its own bank account. Lasting thirteen years in this trade is itself the clearest signal there is — companies that work badly do not last two.

2. A fixed price in the contract, with nothing hidden

The complaint people have about moving companies is the charge added on the day — the crew arrives and suddenly more people are needed, or the stairs cost extra. We do not do that. The price quoted before the move is FINAL. Everything is in the contract: the vehicle, the number of people, and any extras — packing, dismantling, reassembly, storage.

3. Our own fleet

We have four vehicles of our own:

  • A smaller cargo van (4.1 × 1.9 × 1.85 m) — studios and one-bedroom flats
  • A larger cargo van (4.3 × 1.9 × 1.9 m) — two- and three-bedroom flats
  • A passenger van that converts to cargo by moving the seats — small moves, and when people and belongings travel together
  • A 3.5-tonne truck (load space around 5 × 2.4 × 2.7 m) — houses, business premises and oversized items

Each vehicle is serviced, registered and fully documented — registration, insurance and a current inspection. Nothing hired in from an unknown source.

4. Crews employed by the company

All of the crew — drivers and movers — are employed by the company, not seasonal or called in for the day. That means continuous training, a safety procedure and one consistent way of working. Our longest-serving people have been with us more than ten years and know every street in Belgrade.

5. Insurance against breakage and accident

Every move is covered against breakage, theft and road accident. Before loading, everything is packed properly — stretch film, bubble wrap for fragile items, card corners for furniture and moving blankets.

6. Available around the clock, 365 days a year

We move at three in the morning, at weekends and on public holidays. No surcharge for weekends or holidays. Same-day moves — call 066/50-40-30-9 and we will try to fit you in.

The kinds of move we do

Flat moves

The most common move in Belgrade — from a studio to a flat over 100 m². It usually takes two to six hours depending on the size. The vehicle, the crew and the materials are in the base price.

House moves

Houses in Belgrade hold more than flats do — the garden, the garage, the cellar, the loft. A house move takes six to ten hours, sometimes two days where there is a great deal. More on our page for House moves.

Office and business moves

A business move is planned around keeping the interruption short. We often do them at weekends or overnight so that on Monday morning people arrive at the new office and work. More at Office moves.

VIP moves

For clients who need it — public figures, politicians, business people — we offer VIP moves with full discretion, a non-disclosure agreement and additional security.

Full-service move

If you have no time for any of it, we do everything from packing to unpacking. You hand over the keys to the old place and arrive at a new one that is already set up. More at Full-service move.

Frequently asked questions

What does a studio move in Belgrade cost?

From RSD 17,000 — a van with crew, within the city, with a lift. Without a lift, or over a longer distance, it is more. The exact figure comes from the free survey.

What does a two-bedroom move in Belgrade cost?

A two-bedroom flat usually takes a 12 m³ van with two or three people. From RSD 40,000 for a standard move within the city; flats with a lot in them and no lift cost more.

Do you move at night?

Yes — around the clock, 365 days a year. Night moves, between 10pm and 6am, cost the same as daytime ones. They are often easier: no traffic and parking is free.

How many people come with the van?

Two as standard with a van up to 12 m³, three or four with a truck. If you need more — no lift, or a high floor — we can send extra at RSD 1,500 an hour each.

How far ahead should I book?

Seven to ten days is ideal. At the end of the month and through the summer, book two weeks ahead. For anything urgent, call and we will try to fit you in.

Do you have storage?

Yes — a climate-controlled warehouse in Belgrade, charged monthly per m³. Secure, with CCTV and an alarm around the clock, and proof against water and vermin.

What if something breaks during the move?

We carry breakage insurance. If something is damaged you report it to the insurer and we help with the paperwork. In practice it is rare — about 0.5% of moves.

How can I pay?

Card payment is not available. You can pay in cash with a receipt, or by bank transfer to the company account, in dinars or in euros for international clients. We are also on the Serbian e-invoicing system, so businesses can be invoiced through it on request.

Do you issue an invoice?

Yes, with our tax number, for private customers and businesses alike. Businesses need it to put the cost through the books.

How long does a move in Belgrade take?

A studio or one-bedroom flat, two to four hours. Two-bedroom, three to five. Three-bedroom, four to six. A house, six to ten.

Do you work weekends and holidays?

Yes — 365 days a year, around the clock, with no surcharge for the day.

Which Belgrade municipalities do you cover?

All seventeen: Stari Grad, Savski Venac, New Belgrade, Vračar, Zvezdara, Voždovac, Palilula, Rakovica, Zemun, Čukarica, Grocka, Obrenovac, Surčin, Barajevo, Lazarevac, Mladenovac and Sopot.
