The highest-rated moving company

Do not take our word for it — see what more than 1,200 customers say about us:

About Grocka: Grocka is a town within the City of Belgrade. The earliest traces of settlement on what is now its territory go back to the start of the Neolithic. The town itself has around 10,000 residents today, with an average age of 38. The municipality takes in the eastern side of Belgrade on the right bank of the Danube, where the Gročica flows into it, and at 71 metres above sea level it is one of the lowest-lying parts of the capital. The western part is urban, with hundreds of small businesses. The Danube runs 25 km along it, which makes the area a draw for tourism and for fishing. If you want to be surrounded by countryside and history, by a river, in a place continuously inhabited for more than 7,500 years — and still close to the centre, at a price per square metre that is within reach — this is one of the better places to look. The municipality also holds three large weekend settlements with more than 7,000 houses between them.

It is one of the more attractive parts of Belgrade to live in, and the number of moves here reflects that.

Whether your move in Grocka is local, to another city or abroad, KOMBI-KOMBI can do it. Leaving it to a company that does this every day is what removes most of the stress — and most of the improvising.

If all you need is transport for furniture or goods, we cover that too. There is no need to wait a week or a month for a shop to deliver — call us and your furniture can be at your address within two hours. It is all simpler if you leave it to kombi-kombi.rs for transport and removals.

moving in Grocka

Moving in Grocka — a guide to the municipality

Grocka is a suburban municipality on the south-east edge of Belgrade, along the Danube, known for its orchards and for the Grocka peach. Rolling terrain and settlements spread along the riverbank mean the approach to each address is planned in advance.

We move in Grocka, Kaluđerica, Vinča, Leštane and Brestovik. Kaluđerica grew without a plan and has narrow, steep streets that need a careful approach, while the riverside parts towards Vinča are easier to reach. We set the crew size by the terrain and the floor.

What a Belgrade – Grocka move costs

To Grocka we charge per kilometre driven, one way — RSD 230 per km, because the distance is under 40 km. From the centre of Belgrade to Grocka is about 25 km.

ItemPrice
Distance — 25 km × RSD 230RSD 6,000
Starting price for transportfrom RSD 6,000

That figure is the price of transport, with no crew. Loading and unloading are charged separately and depend above all on the floor and whether there is a lift— carrying from a fourth floor with no lift can take longer than the drive itself. Packing, dismantling and reassembly and the materials are added according to the work involved, and there is also a price per item of furniture; it is all on the pageMoving prices. You get an exact figure once we have seen the list of items, the floor and how close a vehicle can get; the survey is free.

What actually decides the price in Grocka

Grocka stretches along the Danube about 25 km from the centre, so transport here is charged by distance. Kaluđerica is its own case — by population it is larger than most towns in Serbia.

  • Kaluđerica — unplanned building, narrow steep streets with nowhere to turn. We send a van rather than a truck as a matter of course, and check the approach before setting off.
  • House numbers and navigation — addresses in Kaluđerica and Leštane can be hard to find. Share your location from your phone so the vehicle is not driving in circles.
  • Vinča and Brestovik — the riverside, with easier access. Houses with gardens and cellars.
  • Orchards and weekend houses — fitting out for the season, and taking away old furniture, are both common jobs here.

Moving from Grocka to other cities and abroad

We also do intercity moves to cities across Serbia i international moving to 21 countries, with the inventory list and customs paperwork.

How a move in Grocka works
