Moving between Belgrade and Gothenburg — KOMBI-KOMBI

Gothenburg is Sweden's second city and about 1,900 km from Belgrade — 250 km closer than Stockholm, which shows in the price: a studio starts at €2,280. The route enters Sweden over the Öresund bridge and runs north up the west coast.

What the move costs

The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:

About Gothenburg

Gothenburg has one of the three largest Serbian communities in Sweden, alongside Stockholm and Malmö, much of it long established around the port and the motor industry. The same runs cover Malmö, Helsingborg and the towns of central Sweden, and continue to Oslo.

Practical notes

Gothenburg sits on the road to Oslo, which is what makes part loads work here: a Gothenburg consignment travels on a run already going to Norway or back from Stockholm, and you pay for the space rather than the trip. For anything under about eight cubic metres that is normally the cheaper answer by a wide margin. In winter the Öresund crossing can close in high wind, so December to February dates are planned with a day of slack instead of a promise we might not keep.

Frequently asked questions

What does this route cost?

From €2,280 for a studio up to 8 m³, €2,720 for a two-bedroom, €3,400 for a three-bedroom and €4,280 for a house.

Is it cheaper than Stockholm?

Yes — about 250 km closer, and the price reflects it at every size.

Is a part load worth it here?

Usually, for anything under about eight cubic metres. Gothenburg is on the road to Oslo, so there is nearly always a run going that way.

How long does it take?

About 19 hours of driving; 2–5 working days door to door.

What about winter?

High wind can close the Öresund bridge. On winter dates we build a day of slack into the plan.

Is there a customs procedure?

Not outbound — it is all within the EU. Returning to Serbia there is a full entry procedure, which we prepare.
