Moving in Niš — a guide to the town and around it
At about 240 km, Niš is the furthest south of the large destinations we cover regularly, and the road from Belgrade is the E-75 motorway (Corridor 10), so the run is quick and predictable. As Serbia's third city and the junction for the roads to Sofia, Skopje and Thessaloniki, Niš is also on the route of our international moves — which is why we are often able to combine an arrival and a departure here on the same day.
Within the city we move from the densely built Medijana and the centre out to Pantelej, Crveni Krst, Niška Banja and the Durlan and Šljaka neighbourhoods. The old part around the Fortress and Kazandžijsko Sokače has narrow streets and limited access, while the newer building at Trošarina and towards Niška Banja has wider approaches and lifts. That difference decides the crew size and the loading time, which we set in advance.

What is particular about Niš
