Moving between Belgrade and Sarajevo — KOMBI-KOMBI

Belgrade to Sarajevo is about 310 km, four hours' driving, with a studio from €370 — the cheapest route we run to a non-EU country. Short as it is, the border is a customs crossing and the inventory matters.

What the move costs

The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:

The road and the border

South-west through Valjevo and Zvornik, or via Bijeljina depending on the day — the crossings differ in how busy they are and we take whichever is running. From the border the road follows the Drina valley and climbs to Sarajevo.

  • A crew — driver and two movers
  • Fragile items packed in stretch film and bubble wrap

About Sarajevo

Sarajevo and the surrounding municipalities — Ilidža, Vogošća, Hadžići, East Sarajevo — take most deliveries, with Zenica, Tuzla and Mostar on the same runs. This route runs about as often in one direction as the other.

Practical notes

Sarajevo lies in a narrow valley and the housing climbs both sides. The hillside streets above the centre are steep, narrow and often end in steps, and in winter they are the first to become impassable for a loaded vehicle. Baščaršija and the old quarter have restricted access. Down in the valley — Ilidža, Novo Sarajevo, the Marijin Dvor blocks — the job is ordinary. Tell us the neighbourhood and we will say which of the two it is.
