What actually sets the price
Before the figures, it is worth knowing what moves them. Four things do most of the work.
The size of the home and how much there is. This is the biggest single factor. A three-bedroom flat fully furnished costs considerably more than a studio with the minimum. What matters is not only the number of rooms but the heavy pieces — wardrobes, beds with mattresses, large tables — because those decide how many people and how many hours.
The floor and the lift. A high floor with no lift means carrying furniture down by hand, which takes time and bodies. A ground floor or a building with a working lift is markedly simpler and cheaper. A surcharge per floor without a lift is usual, around RSD 600–1,800 per floor.
The distance between the addresses. Within one part of the city costs less than, say, Novi Beograd to Voždovac. And if either address is awkward for a vehicle — narrow streets, nowhere to park — that adds too.
Season and day of the week. Summer (June to September) and the end of the month are peak demand, and prices follow. Monday to Thursday is cheaper than a weekend. November to February is the cheapest time of year.
Prices by size of home
These are starting prices for a standard move within Belgrade, with an average quantity of furniture and belongings. The basic price covers transport by van or truck, loading and unloading, and basic protection of the furniture in transit. Anything beyond that is charged separately.
| Home | Crew and time | From |
|---|---|---|
| Studio, up to 30 m² | 2 movers, 2–3 hours | RSD 17,000 |
| One-bedroom, 30–50 m² | 2–3 movers, 3–4 hours | RSD 25,000 |
| Two-bedroom, 50–70 m² | 3–4 movers, 4–6 hours | RSD 40,000 |
| Three-bedroom, 70–100 m² | 4–5 movers, 6–8 hours | on survey |
| House or over 100 m² | priced individually | on survey |
From a two-bedroom upwards, more than one vehicle is often needed. For a house, or for a move with special requirements — a piano, several addresses, furniture that has to come out through a window — the price is set after a survey, which is free.
Extra services and what they cost
Packing. Worth it for anything fragile or valuable. The crew uses proper materials — boxes, bubble wrap, stretch film and corner protectors. Packing runs RSD 3,500–9,500 depending on quantity; materials alone are RSD 1,800–4,700 if you buy them separately and pack yourself.
Dismantling and reassembly. Most furniture has to come apart before transport and go back together at the other end: RSD 2,400–7,000, depending on how many pieces and how complicated. Flat-pack and fitted wardrobes take longer than most.
Special items. A piano, a safe or a large aquarium needs its own equipment and extra hands. A piano runs RSD 12,000–35,000 depending on the type and the access.
Storage. If there is a gap between moving out and moving in, storage costs from about €50 to €150 a month depending on the space. It is also the sensible answer during a renovation.

How to pay less
Pick the right date. Mid-month, midweek and outside the summer can save 20–30% against a weekend at the end of June or September.
Pack the easy things yourself. Clothes, books and kitchen odds and ends are straightforward and save RSD 3,500–9,500. Leave glass, porcelain, electronics and pictures to the crew — that is where packing actually earns its money, and it also decides who carries the burden of proof if something breaks.
Get rid of what you do not need. Less to move is less to pay for. Go through every room before the survey, not after it.
Book early. Two to three weeks ahead as a rule, a month in season. Late booking means whatever vehicle is free, which usually means both a worse slot and a higher price.
Getting a figure you can rely on
Ask for an itemised quote before the move rather than a number over the telephone. A survey — in person or over a video call — takes a quarter of an hour and is free, and after it the price does not move unless what we find differs from what was described.
For a rough figure before you call anyone, the cost calculator works from the type of flat and the access. The full list is on the price list.
Frequently asked questions
What does moving a studio in Belgrade cost?
From RSD 17,000. The figure depends on the floor, the access, how much furniture there is and the distance between the addresses. Dismantling and reassembly can take it a little higher.
What affects the price of a move?
The size of the home and the quantity of belongings, the floor and the lift, the distance between addresses, dismantling and reassembly, packing and materials, special items such as a piano or a safe, the day of the week and the season, and extras such as storage.
When is the cheapest time to move in Belgrade?
November to February, mid-month, Monday to Thursday. Avoid the start and end of the month, weekends and the summer season from June to September, when demand and prices are highest.
Is it cheaper if I pack myself?
Yes — packing yourself can save 20–30% of the total. But professional packing protects valuable and fragile items better. The compromise is to pack clothes and books yourself and leave fragile items and electronics to the crew.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks as a rule, and a month in season. Booking early gets you a better price and your choice of date. Urgent moves within 24 hours are possible, with a surcharge.
Does the basic price include anything beyond transport?
It includes loading, unloading and basic protection of the furniture in transit. Packing, dismantling and reassembly, special items and storage are charged separately.
