The Öresund crossing, and why vehicle height matters
- The bridge has a height limit. Vehicles over 4.5 m cannot use the Öresund crossing. Our vans and 3.5 t trucks pass without trouble, but for a large move needing a taller truck we plan the ferry instead — Rødby–Puttgarden or Helsingborg–Helsingør.
- The toll is already in the price. The bridge is charged per vehicle and that is part of the fixed quote. Nothing is added on the day.
- Two to three days on the road. At 2,100 km, with the driver's mandatory rest periods, delivery falls on the second or third day. We agree the dates before loading.
- Winter conditions. Between November and March we build extra time into the schedule rather than promising an exact hour of arrival.

These are starting prices, calculated per kilometre driven. Paperwork and customs
Sweden is in the EU and in the Schengen area; Serbia is in neither, so a customs procedure applies in both directions. For a change of residence you will need an inventory of your belongings, proof of registration or de-registration of residence, and your passport.
Moving into the EU falls under the rules on the transfer of normal residence: personal belongings may enter free of duty and VAT where the conditions are met, typically that you have owned and used them for at least six months. Relief from duty is not the same as the absence of a procedure — we prepare the inventory and handle the formalities.
Packing and protecting your furniture
We use proper packing materials and give fragile items — glass, pictures, musical instruments — extra protection with cardboard corners and furniture blankets.
