Belgrade to Rome is about 1,400 km, with a studio from €1,680. It is the longest of our Italian routes and the one where access at the far end most often decides how the day goes — central Rome is not a city a large vehicle can simply drive into.
What the move costs
The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:
| Home | Volume | From |
|---|---|---|
| Studio or one-bedroom, up to 30 m² | up to 8 m³ | €1,680 |
| Two-bedroom, 30–50 m² | 10–15 m³ | €2,020 |
| Three-bedroom, 50–80 m² | 15–20 m³ | €2,520 |
| Four-bedroom or house, 80 m²+ | 20 m³+ | €3,050 |
These are starting prices, calculated per kilometre driven. A full service with movers, packing and reassembly runs at €1.5–1.9 per kilometre; groupage is charged by the space your load takes up. For an exact figure call +381 66 50-40-30-9.

The road and the border
Through Croatia and Slovenia to Trieste, then down the Adriatic side on the A14 or across through Bologna and Florence on the A1. Both are inside the EU the whole way after the Croatian border, so the timing depends on the crossing at Bajakovo in the morning rather than on anything further west.

About Rome
The Serbian community in Rome is smaller than in Milan and more scattered — a good part of it works for the international organisations and embassies. Deliveries go across Prati, Monteverde, Tuscolano and the EUR district, with Fiumicino, Ostia and the Castelli Romani on the same runs.
Practical notes
Rome's historic centre is a ZTL — a limited traffic zone — and entering it without a permit means an automatic fine per camera passed, which on a removal vehicle adds up quickly. Permits are applied for through the commune and take days, not hours. For many central addresses the honest answer is that the vehicle parks outside the zone and the load is carried or shuttled in a smaller van, and that has to be in the quote. Tell us the street and the nearest ZTL gate when you ask for a price. Outside the centre — EUR, Tuscolano, the suburbs — the job is ordinary and the vehicle reaches the door.
Frequently asked questions
What does this route cost?
From €1,680 for a studio up to 8 m³, €2,020 for a two-bedroom, €2,520 for a three-bedroom and €3,050 for a house.
What is a ZTL and does it affect me?
A limited traffic zone covering Rome's historic centre. Entering without a permit triggers a fine at every camera. If your address is inside one, we either apply for a permit in advance or park outside and shuttle in — either way it goes in the price.
How long does it take?
About 15 hours of driving; 1–3 working days door to door.
Do you cover Fiumicino and Ostia?
Yes, and the Castelli Romani, on the same runs.
Is there a customs procedure?
Not outbound — both countries are in the EU. Returning to Serbia there is a full entry procedure, which we handle.
Do you run part loads to Rome?
Yes. You pay for the space you occupy rather than for the vehicle, which suits a smaller shipment on a route this long.
