Moving between Belgrade and Zadar — KOMBI-KOMBI

Belgrade to Zadar is about 700 km, seven hours' driving, with a studio from €840. Zadar is the northern gateway to the Dalmatian coast and, for us, the point where deliveries to the islands are arranged rather than driven.

What the move costs

The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:

The road and the border

West through Slavonia to the A1, then south past Karlovac and through the Lika tunnels to the coast. Zadar is the first coastal city on that road, which makes it an hour closer than Split and a natural stop on runs going further south.

What the price includes

  • The vehicle at your address in Belgrade at the agreed time
  • A crew — driver and two movers
  • Fragile items packed in stretch film and bubble wrap
  • Dismantling of large furniture — beds, wardrobes, tables
  • Loading and securing the load in the vehicle
  • Transport of 700 km to Zadar
  • Customs paperwork — inventory, CMR and transit documents
  • Unloading at your new address and reassembly of the furniture
  • Cover against breakage, theft and road accidents

About Zadar

Zadar, Biograd, Nin and the Ravni Kotari villages take most of these deliveries, with Šibenik on the same runs. A steady share are holiday houses being furnished or emptied, which tends to mean fewer boxes and more single large items.

Practical notes

Deliveries to Ugljan, Pašman, Dugi Otok or the other islands go by car ferry from Zadar, and that is a booking rather than a turn-up: the vehicle needs a place, the sailing is on a timetable, and in high season places go days ahead. Give us the island and the address when you ask for a price, because the ferry is a real line in the quote and a real constraint on the date. The mainland runs are ordinary and the vehicle reaches the door.

Can you deliver to the islands?

About seven hours of driving; 1–2 working days door to door.

Yes, and the Ravni Kotari villages and Šibenik, on the same runs.
