About Milan

Milan has the largest Serbian community in Italy, spread across the northern and eastern suburbs and the towns of the Brianza. Monza, Sesto San Giovanni, Rho and Bergamo are on the same runs, and Turin and Verona are both on the road.

Practical notes

Milan has two overlapping schemes: Area C, a charge for the historic centre, and Area B, a low-emission zone covering almost the whole city and barring older diesel vehicles outright. Our vehicles meet the standard, but it is the reason a general haulier's van sometimes cannot reach a Milan address at all. The second thing is the buildings: older blocks open onto internal courtyards through a carriage gate, and its height decides whether the van gets in or the load is carried through the passage. A photograph of the gate answers it.
