Do not take our word for it — see what more than 1,200 customers say about us:

About Barajevo: Barajevo lies entirely outside the built-up area of Belgrade and counts as a suburban municipality, to the south and south-west of the city. Its centre is 27 kilometres from the centre of Belgrade. It was established in 1956 as one of the municipalities of the Belgrade administrative area, with its boundaries settled between 1956 and 1960. It borders Čukarica and Voždovac to the north, Sopot to the east, Lazarevac to the south and Obrenovac to the west. It covers 213 square kilometres — 21,300 hectares — holding fourteen settlements divided into fifteen local communities, with around 35,000 residents. The terrain is rolling, cut by the valleys of a number of small rivers and streams running into the Kolubara; the largest are the Marica and the Beljanica, with the Barajevska and Suva as tributaries. Woodland covers about 20% of the municipality. Barajevo is away from the crowds, close to Belgrade, and still priced within reason — which is why it has become worth considering if you are buying. The number of moves here goes up steadily.

It is one of the more sought-after places to live around Belgrade now, and the number of moves here reflects that.

Whether your move in Barajevo is local, to another city or abroad, KOMBI-KOMBI can do it. Leaving it to a company that does this every day is what removes most of the stress — and most of the improvising.

Moving in Barajevo — a guide to the municipality

Barajevo is a suburban municipality in the south-west of Belgrade, about 25 km from the centre, beside the Lipovica forest, and largely suburban and rural in character. A mixture of family houses and smaller settlements makes for varied logistics.

We cover Barajevo, Gaj, Veliki Borak, Meljak and Vranić. Mostly individual houses with no lift, and settlements spread out, so there is carrying and the access has to be planned. Being near the Ibarska road speeds up getting there. The crew size follows the floor and the terrain.

What a Belgrade – Barajevo move costs

To Barajevo we charge per kilometre driven, one way — RSD 230 per km, because the distance is under 40 km. From the centre of Belgrade to Barajevo is about 25 km.

ItemPrice
Distance — 25 km × RSD 230RSD 6,000
Starting price for transportfrom RSD 6,000

That figure is the price of transport, with no crew. Loading and unloading are charged separately and depend above all on the floor and whether there is a lift— carrying from a fourth floor with no lift can take longer than the drive itself. Packing, dismantling and reassembly and the materials are added according to the work involved, and there is also a price per item of furniture; it is all on the pageMoving prices. You get an exact figure once we have seen the list of items, the floor and how close a vehicle can get; the survey is free.

What actually decides the price in Barajevo

Barajevo is a suburban municipality — about 25 km from the centre of Belgrade along the Ibarska road — so transport is charged by distance rather than purely as a city move.

  • The Ibarska road — at rush hour, and at weekends when everyone is heading for the mountains, it stops moving. We set off earlier.
  • Houses with gardens — the vehicle reaches the door, but the cellars and sheds are full of things that get left out of the estimate. Count those too.
  • Vranić, Meljak and Veliki Borak — scattered settlements, with some gravel approaches. We agree the vehicle in advance.
  • The Lipovica forest — weekend and holiday houses, with seasonal moves and fitting out a regular job.

Moving from Barajevo to other cities and abroad

We also do intercity moves to cities across Serbia i international moving to 21 countries, with the inventory list and customs paperwork.

How a move in Barajevo works

Step one: Get in touch — by email, the contact form or phone — and you will quickly get a worked-out plan for the move that fits what you need. The survey costs nothing. After that, all that is left is to book the date.

Step two: The crew arrives at the address you are leaving, dismantles the furniture, wraps it and packs your things into boxes. You can of course pack and wrap yourself, but the things most often damaged are the ones wrapped in a hurry. The crew then loads the van and sets off for the new address.

Step three: They unload, carry everything into the new home, unpack the boxes, reassemble the furniture and put things where they belong. That is the whole process when the crew does it.
