Belgrade to Thessaloniki is about 640 km, seven hours' driving, with a studio from €770. It is the shortest route to Greece and the one that fills up every summer with people moving to and from the Halkidiki coast.
What the move costs
The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:
| Home | Volume | From |
|---|---|---|
| Studio or one-bedroom, up to 30 m² | up to 8 m³ | €770 |
| Two-bedroom, 30–50 m² | 10–15 m³ | €910 |
| Three-bedroom, 50–80 m² | 15–20 m³ | €1,120 |
| Four-bedroom or house, 80 m²+ | 20 m³+ | €1,400 |
These are starting prices, calculated per kilometre driven. A full service with movers, packing and reassembly runs at €1.5–1.9 per kilometre; groupage is charged by the space your load takes up. For an exact figure call +381 66 50-40-30-9.

The road and the border
South through Niš, across North Macedonia on the E75 and into Greece at Evzoni, an hour from the city. Two crossings, both quick — North Macedonia is transit, Greece is in the EU. In August the Evzoni queue is the only thing that reliably adds time.

About Thessaloniki
Thessaloniki itself, Kalamaria and the eastern suburbs take most deliveries, with Halkidiki — Nea Moudania, Kassandra, Sithonia — on the same runs. A steady share of the work here is holiday properties being furnished or cleared rather than households relocating.
Practical notes
Furnishing a flat on Halkidiki is a different job from a household move: fewer boxes, more single bulky items, and often nobody at the address to receive it. We agree access with the owner or the agency in advance, and we photograph the delivered goods in place so there is a record. On dates in August, allow for the Evzoni crossing — it is the busiest land border in the region in that month, and an hour there is normal.
Frequently asked questions
What does this route cost?
From €770 for a studio up to 8 m³, €910 for a two-bedroom, €1,120 for a three-bedroom and €1,400 for a house.
Do you deliver to Halkidiki?
Yes — Nea Moudania, Kassandra and Sithonia are on the same runs, and a good share of that work is furnishing holiday flats.
What if nobody is at the property?
We arrange access with the owner or agency in advance and photograph the goods in place, so there is a record of what was delivered and where.
How long does it take?
About seven hours of driving; 1–2 working days door to door.
Are the borders a problem?
Normally quick. In August the Evzoni crossing is the busiest in the region and an hour's wait is usual, so we build it into the plan.
Is there a customs procedure?
Not outbound. Returning to Serbia there is a full entry procedure.
