Moving between Novi Sad and Berlin — KOMBI-KOMBI

Novi Sad to Berlin is about 1,470 km, with a studio from €2,020. Novi Sad sits 80 km closer to the Hungarian border than Belgrade does, so the drive is shorter than from Belgrade — though not cheaper, because collection outside Belgrade carries a fixed supplement of €160.

The road and the border

North to the Horgoš crossing — about an hour and a half from Novi Sad — then Hungary, Slovakia or Austria, and into Germany from the south-east. Starting from Vojvodina saves both the 80 km to Belgrade and the city itself, which on a weekday morning is worth more than the distance suggests.

What the price includes

  • The vehicle at your address in Novi Sad at the agreed time
  • A crew — driver and two movers
  • Fragile items packed in stretch film and bubble wrap
  • Dismantling of large furniture — beds, wardrobes, tables
  • Loading and securing the load in the vehicle

  • Customs paperwork — inventory, CMR and transit documents
  • Unloading at your new address and reassembly of the furniture

About Berlin

In Berlin the community sits in Neukölln, Wedding, Moabit and Spandau, with newer arrivals in Friedrichshain and Lichtenberg. The Belgrade – Berlin page covers the Halteverbot permit and the lift problem in more detail.

Practical notes

We load at your address in Novi Sad — Liman, Detelinara, Novo Naselje, Petrovaradin or Sremska Kamenica — and across the surrounding towns: Sremski Karlovci, Beočin, Temerin, Žabalj and Bačka Palanka. Student moves are a large part of this route in September and again in June, and for a single room a part load is nearly always the sensible option: you pay for the space, and the vehicle is going anyway.

Frequently asked questions

What does this route cost?

From €2,020 for a studio up to 8 m³, €2,420 for a two-bedroom, €3,030 for a three-bedroom and €4,040 for a house.

Is it cheaper than from Belgrade?

The drive is shorter — Novi Sad is 80 km nearer the Hungarian border — but the price is not lower. Our vehicles and crews are based in Belgrade, so collection outside the city carries a fixed supplement of €160, which is already in the figures above.

Do you collect from the towns around Novi Sad?

Yes — Sremski Karlovci, Beočin, Temerin, Žabalj and Bačka Palanka, among others.

I am only moving one room — is there a cheaper way?

A part load. You pay for the space you occupy on a vehicle that is going anyway, which for a single room is far cheaper than a dedicated van.

How long does it take?

About 14 hours of driving; 1–3 working days door to door.

Is there a customs procedure?

Not outbound — it is inside the EU. Returning to Serbia there is a full entry procedure.
