The highest-rated moving company
Do not take our word for it — see what more than 1,200 customers say about us:
About Vračar: Vračar covers barely 292 hectares and is still the most densely populated municipality in Belgrade, with some 90,000 residents. It holds the Church of Saint Sava, the National Bank of Serbia and the National Library, and the neighbourhoods of Gradić Pejton, Savinac and Čubura. Slavija roundabout is here too, with its fountain. It is one of the most sought-after addresses in the city — and for exactly that reason one of the places people move to most. The catch is that it is narrow streets, older buildings with small lifts or none at all, tight staircases and almost no parking. For most people that is the hard part of moving to or from Vračar. It is not the hard part for kombi-kombi.rs..
It is one of the most desirable parts of Belgrade to live in, which is why moves in and out of Vračar keep increasing.
Whether your move in Vračar is local, to another city or abroad, KOMBI-KOMBI can do it. Leaving it to a company that does this every day is what removes most of the stress — and most of the improvising.
If all you need is transport for furniture or goods, we cover that too. There is no need to wait a week or a month for a shop to deliver — call us and your furniture can be at your address within two hours. It is all simpler if you leave it to kombi-kombi.rs for transport and removals.
Perhaps all you need is transport for furniture or goods. We cover that as well — there is no need to wait ten days or a month for a shop to deliver. Call us for quick, inexpensive transport of furniture or goods.
Moving in Vračar — a guide to the municipality
Vračar is the smallest and most densely populated of Belgrade's municipalities, right in the centre, with the Church of Saint Sava as its landmark. The building stock is mostly old and the traffic is heavy, which makes parking and access the real difficulty — so we plan moves here more carefully than most.
We move around Kalenić market, Crveni Krst, Neimar and Slavija. The old high-ceilinged buildings often have no lift, or a very small one, so we plan on carrying up the stairs; and we arrange somewhere for the van in advance, because parking in these streets is almost always full.
What a move in Vračar costs
A move within Belgrade is not priced by distance but by the work involved. The starting prices below are from our price list; the final figure depends on the floor, the lift, and how close a vehicle can get to the entrance.
| Service | Starting price |
|---|---|
| Transport with no crew | from RSD 3,500 |
| Transport with our loading and unloading | from RSD 5,000 |
| Full-service move | from RSD 8,000 |
The first is transport only, with no crew; the others include loading and unloading. The final figure depends above all on the floor and whether there is a lift— carrying from a fourth floor with no lift can take longer than the drive itself. Packing, dismantling and reassembly and the materials are added according to the work involved, and there is also a price per item of furniture; it is all on the pageMoving prices. You get an exact figure once we have seen the list of items, the floor and how close a vehicle can get; the survey is free.
What actually decides the price in Vračar
On a Vračar move, the time goes on two things: the stairs, and where the van can stand. That is why the first questions we ask are the floor, the size of the lift, and whether a space outside the entrance can be freed up.
- A small lift — in buildings from the 1930s the lift often takes two people and will not take a three-seat sofa or a fridge. We plan those pieces as a carry up the stairs from the start.
- Somewhere for the vehicle — if you are in a zoned part of the district, arrange with the building manager or the neighbours to free a space outside the entrance for the morning. Every metre closer to the door shortens the move.
- An early slot — loading in Vračar goes fastest between 8 and 11 in the morning, before the streets fill up.
- High ceilings — the old flats have large wardrobes and display cabinets that will not go through a doorway in one piece. We plan the dismantling in advance so it is not a surprise on the day.
Moving from Vračar to other cities and abroad
We also do intercity moves to cities across Serbia i international moving to 21 countries, with the inventory list and customs paperwork.
How a move in Vračar works
A move happens in three steps: free survey (by phone, through the contact form, or from photographs), packing, dismantling and loading on the agreed date, then unloading, reassembly and unpacking at the new address. Each step in detail: Full-service move.
