The road and the border
Through Hungary from Horgoš and on through Slovakia, or via Brno, depending on traffic. Motorway nearly all the way, with vignettes for Hungary and Slovakia included in the price. Eastern Slovakia is hilly and slower in winter, so from December to March we allow extra time.
