Moving between Belgrade and Stuttgart — KOMBI-KOMBI

Belgrade to Stuttgart is about 1,250 km, with a studio from €1,500. Baden-Württemberg is where the first generation of guest workers went in the largest numbers, and Stuttgart is still one of the two or three busiest German destinations we have.

What the move costs

The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:

About Stuttgart

The community is spread across Bad Cannstatt, Feuerbach, Zuffenhausen and Untertürkheim, and through the industrial towns around the city — Sindelfingen, Böblingen, Esslingen, Ludwigsburg and Waiblingen, all on the same runs.

Practical notes

Stuttgart sits in a basin and the housing climbs the sides of it. Whole streets are on gradients a loaded vehicle cannot park on safely, some addresses are reached only by the Stäffele — the public stairways between levels — and in those the furniture is carried, not driven. This is the one German city where we ask for a photograph of the approach before quoting, because the distance from where the van can stand to the front door decides the price more than the floor does. Beyond that: green Umweltplakette for the low-emission zone, and a Halteverbot wherever the street is narrow, which is most of them.

Frequently asked questions

What does this route cost?

From €1,500 for a studio up to 8 m³, €1,800 for a two-bedroom, €2,250 for a three-bedroom and €3,000 for a house.

Why do you want a photograph of the street?

Because Stuttgart is built on slopes. How far the van can get from your door, and whether there are public stairways in between, affects the price more than the floor does.

How long does it take?

About 12 hours of driving; 1–3 working days door to door — one of our shortest German routes.

Do you cover Sindelfingen and Esslingen?

Yes, along with Böblingen, Ludwigsburg and Waiblingen, on the same runs.

Does the van need a green sticker?

Yes — Stuttgart's low-emission zone is strict and our vehicles carry the Umweltplakette.

Do you run part loads?

Yes. On a part load you pay for the space you take rather than for the vehicle.
