Moving between Belgrade and Hanover — KOMBI-KOMBI

Belgrade to Hanover is about 1,500 km, with a studio from €1,800 — closer than the Ruhr and cheaper for it. Hanover is the easiest of the larger German cities for a removal vehicle, and the price is not the only reason people notice.

What the move costs

The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:

About Hanover

The community here is spread through Linden, List, Vahrenwald and Laatzen. Braunschweig, Hildesheim, Wolfsburg and Celle are on the same runs, and Bremen is close enough to combine when the dates allow.

Practical notes

The centre was rebuilt after the war on a wide grid, so the streets take a large vehicle, the blocks are post-war rather than Altbau, and the lifts are generally big enough for furniture. A Halteverbot is still the sensible precaution in the inner districts, and the low-emission zone still needs the green Umweltplakette — but the stairwell problems that define a move in Hamburg or Cologne mostly do not arise here. One exception: during the big trade fairs the city fills, hotels and streets alike, and a delivery slot is harder to hold.

Frequently asked questions

What does this route cost?

From €1,800 for a studio up to 8 m³, €2,140 for a two-bedroom, €2,680 for a three-bedroom and €3,380 for a house.

Why is it cheaper than Düsseldorf or Cologne?

It is about 60–100 km closer and the run avoids the Ruhr corridor. The price is calculated per kilometre driven.

How long does it take?

About 14 hours of driving; 1–3 working days door to door.

Do I still need a Halteverbot?

In the inner districts it is sensible. Hanover is easier than most German cities but the space at the door still has to be kept free.

Do you cover Braunschweig and Wolfsburg?

Yes, and Hildesheim and Celle. Bremen can be combined when the dates line up.

Is there a customs procedure?

Not outbound — it is inside the EU. Returning to Serbia there is a full entry procedure, which we handle.
