Moving between Belgrade and Cologne — KOMBI-KOMBI

Belgrade to Cologne is about 1,600 km, with a studio from €1,920. Cologne has one of the oldest Serbian communities in Germany, concentrated on the right bank of the Rhine, and the moves here are more often families settling than short postings.

What the move costs

The price depends on how much there is, how many days of packing are needed, the floor at each address, and any extras. Indicative starting prices:

About Cologne

The community here sits mainly in Kalk, Mülheim, Nippes and Ehrenfeld, with more recent arrivals spread across the left bank. Bonn, Leverkusen, Bergisch Gladbach and Aachen are covered on the same runs.

Practical notes

Two things shape a Cologne move. The first is ordinary: a low-emission zone that needs the green Umweltplakette, and a Halteverbot for the space outside the door. The second is local — during carnival week, from Weiberfastnacht to Ash Wednesday, whole districts are closed to traffic and a removal simply cannot be done in them. If your date falls in February, tell us early and we will place it either side. The old blocks in Kalk and Nippes are typical German Altbau: high ceilings, wide rooms, narrow staircases, and a lift that will not take a sofa.

Frequently asked questions

What does this route cost?

From €1,920 for a studio up to 8 m³, €2,300 for a two-bedroom, €2,880 for a three-bedroom and €3,410 for a house.

Can you move during carnival?

Not inside the districts that are closed to traffic, and that is most of the centre. Tell us early if your date is in February and we will schedule either side of it.

Do I need a parking permit?

A Halteverbot, yes, in nearly every street. It is applied for a few days ahead and we explain how.

How long does it take?

About 15 hours of driving; 1–3 working days door to door.

What if the staircase is too narrow?

Common in the Altbau blocks. Either an external furniture lift or dismantling the bulky pieces — we decide from the floor and the stairwell, told to us in advance.

Do you cover Bonn and Aachen?

Yes, and Leverkusen and Bergisch Gladbach, on the same runs.
