Paintings, sculpture and antiques are the most delicate category we carry: often irreplaceable, and sensitive to vibration, temperature, humidity and chemicals. They travel individually packed, in a climate-controlled vehicle, with cover arranged to the declared value.

How things are packed
Each piece is packed on its own. Paintings get corner protection, a glassine or acid-free interleaf where the surface requires it, then rigid board and a crate or padded case sized to the work. Sculpture is braced so that nothing bears on a projecting element. Frames travel upright, never stacked flat, and nothing shares a crate with something that can move against it.
The vehicle is climate controlled, because the swing from a cold van to a heated flat is what cracks varnish and splits panel.

Paperwork for works going abroad
Cultural property leaving Serbia can require an export permit, and the destination country may have its own requirements. We prepare the transport documents and the inventory; the permit itself is applied for by the owner, and we will tell you when we think one is likely to be needed. This is a point to raise early, not a week before the van leaves.

Cover is set against the declared value. For high-value works, tell us the figure before we quote, because it changes the packing as well as the cover.
Do you work with galleries and museums?
Yes, including exhibition installations and loans.
Can you take works abroad?
Yes, from €400 to the EU. Ask us early if an export permit may be required, as that takes time.
