Moving a practice is not ordinary removals work. Dental chairs, X-ray units, sterilisers and imaging equipment are worth thousands and are ruined by rough handling or a careless reinstall. We have been moving practices since 2013, out of hours, so appointments carry on.

Every practice is surveyed before we quote, because the price turns on the equipment, the floor and the access rather than on floor area.
Scheduling around patients
Practices move on Friday evening or over a weekend, so Monday's list runs normally. For a larger clinic we move room by room, so part of the practice keeps working while the rest is in transit. The schedule is agreed in writing, with the times work starts and finishes at both addresses.
Records and confidentiality
Patient records travel in sealed, labelled boxes listed on an inventory taken at loading. Nobody opens them, and they are handed over against the same list at the other end.
